About Greg
Greg Maurice is a Haitian-American film acquisition and distribution executive whose journey from Port-au-Prince to Brooklyn at age 13 shaped his relentless drive to create access, opportunity, and representation in the entertainment industry. With over 500 acquired titles and $150M+ in licensing revenue across Netflix, HBO, BET, Hulu, Showtime, Starz, ALLBLK, and Amazon, Greg has built a reputation as a strategic dealmaker and trusted partner to independent filmmakers.
He currently leads Black Cinema Acquisition and Distribution at Filmhub, where he champions the business case for diverse storytelling using data-driven market strategy. He is also the founder of ZakaConnect.com and co-founder of Ark CLB — a next-generation film fund and distribution platform built on transparency, filmmaker ownership, and cultural impact.
